Since version 1.2, miCal's startup and overall performance has been improved and is clearly faster on every device. Nevertheless, you should use a 3GS or higher, because there can be performance and memory issues on 3G devices.

What's new in Version 1.7
Important small update with more efficient navigation in day and week calendar view.
All new features:
+ week view: now automatically scrolls to first (determined by hour) event of the week.
+ day view: scrolls to current hour if hits current day. Scrolls to first event of the day for all other days except the current. If no event is available it scrolls to 08:00.
Optimizations:
✗ slightly improve overall performance
✗ optimize appearance of options sub views (for design consistency)
Problems solved:
✓ deselect table cells in search view
✓ landscape week view jumps to previous viewed week instead of the current week after opening event details
✓ some smaller bug fixes
