Mahjong Solitaire in virtual reality 3D, designed specifically for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad! Play arcade-style with progressively difficult levels and high scores, or relax with one of the non-competitive game modes. The gameplay is simple and addictive.
Intuitive touch gestures allow you to tilt and turn, zoom in and out in virtual reality, allowing you to more easily see the tiles on the board. The controls just get out of your way until you're ready to use them. And because it is truly three dimensional, Moonlight Mahjong allows you to play elaborate and fun tile layouts that other flat versions of Mahjong Solitaire can't handle. This is Mahjong Solitaire as it was meant to be.
Moonlight Mahjong now supports Apple's Game Center, with online high scores (Leaderboards), Achievements and multiplayer matches!

What's new in Version 2.1.2
Version 2.1: This is a major update featuring new arcade-like game modes and support for Apple's Game Center, with online high scores, achievements and multiplayer matches!
PLEASE NOTE: If you have not signed into Game Center before, you may be presented with a sign-in dialog when you launch the game. If you do not wish to sign into Game Center, or wish to do so later, just tap "Cancel." Check out the Game Center app for more information. Game Center is available in iOS 4.1 and later on recent hardware. iOS 4.2 or later is recommended.
The different Game Modes are now as follows:
Scramble Mode (the new default!): Score points by making matches faster than the automated opponent Tilebot, through increasingly difficult levels. Tiles are automatically reshuffled when you run out of matches, making this mode more about speed than strategy, although finding matches can be challenging in itself. The game ends when Tilebot finishes a board before you do.
Challenge Mode: Compete against Tilebot through increasingly challenging levels in full puzzle mode: no automatic reshuffle, only undo or start over. This mode is definitely about strategy, but Tilebot is trying to solve the boards at the same time you are!
Lightning Mode: Like Scramble, but Tilebot is twice as fast (and points are worth twice as much), for an extra challenge. Good for when you'd like a game that's relatively short!
Puzzle Mode: The original flavor of Moonlight Mahjong. Solve puzzle boards with no time limit. Choose any layouts, but there are no high scores.
Relaxation Mode: Clear boards with no time limit, and tiles automatically reshuffled when you run out of matches. A good mode for when you just don't feel like strategizing or competing.
Cooperation Mode: Team up with other players to match tiles faster than Tilebot. Similar to Scramble mode, but two players play together.
Competition Mode: Compete against other players to solve puzzles before they do.
Scramble, Challenge, Lightning and Cooperation modes feature high scores and achievements.
In addition, this version features over 70 new built-in layouts, most created by Moonlight Mahjong's clever users. The multitouch control has been improved, and there are numerous other improvements.
Version 2.1.1 changes: Stopped layout stats being erased on update. Multitouch handling now recognizes taps when there is another contact with the screen. An alert is presented when trying to start a multiplayer match while Game Center is still authenticating. Layouts with over 500 tiles are no longer included in level-based game modes.
Version 2.1.2 changes: Support for new achievement levels Dragon Master and Dragon Clan. Fixed issue with invalid Game Center dialog appearing on iPhone 3G under iOS 4.2. Fixed issue with undoing during game over sequence in Challenge mode. Added status button in lower left when in the Scramble modes - eliminates need for extra text in the Challenge and Relaxation mode banners. Slightly rounded label borders. Stays with layout selection when restarting app after completing Puzzle or Relaxation mode board.
